Presentation by Beejan Hamraz I was born in Kabul Afghanistan in 1975 and had to flee the country in 1979 for obvious reasons such as the invasion of the Soviets. My father, mother, 2 sisters and I moved to Vancouver, BC Canada and resided there until 1990 and suddenly moved here to San Diego in the summer of 1990. I graduated from Clairemont high school in 1993 and pursued an Associates degree in mechanical drafting where I successfully completed my course in 1998. I had a few jobs in the drafting field but decided it wasn't for me. I just couldn't stand sitting in front of a computer for 8 plus hours per day drawing plans, I craved for a more physically inclined type of job. I met an old associate at the UPS Store I work at now and he set me up for an interview and so here I stand now! I actually specialize in large freight shipments and marketing, a position I aquired only 1 year after my hire date. I quickly started learning the printing aspect of the job and now work a lot more in that field when not busy with freight work. We specialize in printing of all types of things including pictures, posters, all types of invitations, banners, business cards, documents, binding, presentations, calendars, online printing which can be sent from your PC to the store's E-mail address. In addition to printing, we also do notary, live scan finger printing, laminating, mail boxes provided with a physical street address, we sell boxes, shipping tape, bubble wrap and other shipping accessories including office supplies, envelopes of all sizes, key copying, passport photos, name badges and name plates, greeting cards with a great selection and the list goes on. Thanks for inviting me to join your group, I hope we can have a mutually rewarding business relationship. |
