At tomorrow’s meeting I will be speaking about mediation versus litigation. I have recently become a certified mediator, and am a big proponent of mediation. In my experience, I have found that clients are much happier when they choose mediation in a family law case. The parties have control over the final outcome of their case, and it is significantly less expensive than litigating a case. Although we have great family laws judges in San Diego County, they cannot possibly know or understand a family law case as well as the parties. As a result, the parties will never be happy with the outcome of a litigation case.
